Dear Avery-

You were sick all last weekend, and we ended up taking you to Urgent Care on Saturday. The doctor prescribed some medicine for you and within 24 hours you were back to normal!!! We were so glad!! It's no fun to see you sick. You were a trooper though, and so well behaved for not feeling well.

We have had a busy week. We've had lots of fun cleaning the house. You like to have a baby wipe and to wipe down different things. It's cute.

You are still saying "yeah" all the time, which is really cute. You can repeat almost anything.

The weather has turned really nice so we spend a lot of time outside. You love to be on the go and to go places. You like to have your one on one time with daddy.

You've also started waking Adilynn up whenever you wake up!! You stand in your crib and say "Ada!!" It's cute. (but not when it's 6:00 in the morning!!!!) :)

I love you sweet girl. You are so pretty and so fun to be around. You have zest for life and an energy that is second to none.

Miss Avery,

This week has been a busy one. You have kept me busy by making lots of messes!!! You are good at making messes, but you are also really good at putting things away when I ask you to. You like to be mommy's helper.

Yesterday we went outside and took a walk. You walked the whole way and love being outside. Today we just stayed home and played. You and Adilynn played a lot together. You like to get in your baby stroller and have Adilynn push you around.

You are starting to say "night night" when you want to go to bed and then you try to climb in your crib. That's how we know you are ready for bed!!!

You have also started saying "yup." It's soooooo cute!!!

Daddy and I love you so much. You are so rambunctous and energetic. You cry hard and love hard. You are a cuddler and you LOVE your blankie. If Adilynn takes your blankie you get so mad. I had to give you a spanking today b/c you were throwing a fit!! I felt bad, but then you straightened up and started acting better. :)

You are a blessing and we love being your mommy and daddy.

Snow storm!

Today we had a snow storm in Springfield!! We woke up and it was sleeting and then it quickly became snow. Daddy decided to go into work for awhile, so we played around the house. We had lunch and then daddy came home. You took a three hour afternoon nap and then woke up in the best mood! We had dinner and then played this evening. I should have been doing some housework, but I had too much fun playing with you girls. Daddy took you and Adilynn outside, but you were only out there for about 10 minutes. You didn't like it at all. Nevermind the fact that I had you so bundled up you probably couldn't move!!

You continue to be sooooo playful and fun. There is never a dull moment with you. You and Adilynn play together so well and love each other so much. You chatter all day long and most of the time we can't understand you, but it sure does sound important!

We love you Avery and continue to pray for you everyday. God is going to use you someday for His glory.

Babe A

Right now as I type this, you are up way past your bedtime and you are throwing a ball around the living room and running to get it! It seems to be your new favorite game!

We had a busy weekend. Tiffany and Christian were here. You LOVE Tiffany. When she's around you want all of her attention. Your Aunt Leah (Daddy's sister) had a baby boy (Ethan) on Saturday. Lola (your counsin) spent the whole weekend with us, so it was hectic!!!

Friday night you were up for THREE hours in the night!!! Daddy and I couldn't figure out what was wrong and we felt bad that you weren't able to sleep. We tried everything and eventually you fell asleep in between us in our bed.

Last night we went to church and then ordered pizza like we normally do on saturday nights. You do so well at going to your class at church and you always seem to have a good time.

Today you went to the store with Daddy and to do a couple of errands. You love to go places alone with Daddy and get so excited when you're getting ready to leave.

You are dressed now in your little heart jammies and you look really cute. You are SO pretty and your hair is adorable. It's so long!!! You love Adilynn and you guys have really started to play more and more lately.

You are 18 months old now and I can't believe it. You are growing up so fast and mommy loves you so much. You are my little firecracker.

Sweet Pea

Avery-

Today you slept till 8:00 am!! (yay for mommy!!) We had a fun day at home and went out and did some errands. Aunt Heather came over for dinner and we had tacos. You love the meat, beans and rice, even though you make a big mess with it.

You took a nap for almost 3 hours and was in a really good mood when you woke up. You and Adilynn took a bath together and then you ran around naked after your bath! You and Adilynn played and played, and pushed your babies around in your strollers.

I dressed you in your jammies and daddy tucked you in bed. You have started saying "night-night" when we lay you down. It's the sweetest thing.

You have started saying "hello" when you pick up a phone, and yesterday you saw a baby and said "a baby!"

Yesterday I took this picture while we were in the van. We were on our way home from Wal-Mart and I looked back and you and Adilynn were holding hands!!!

You had a follow up appointment last week for your pneumonia and sinus infection. You got the all clear and you are totally healthy. And you weigh 23 pounds!

You have been pulling out the bathroom drawers and then standing in them. And you also climb on your bookshelf and stand on top of it!! You like to climb on it. You also stand on the drawer on the stove, grab the handle and hoist yourself up to look on the countertop. It's so cute!!!

This weekend

You are tucked in bed asleep as I type this. Daddy called me into your room to look at how you were sleeping. It's so cute!!

We spent the weekend at home, with Tiffany and Christian. You slept until 8 am yesterday (saturday)! It was SO nice!! You played all day and then we went to church last night. You do really well at going to your class and you don't cry. After church we got pizza from Dominos.

Today we were at home because it was too cold to go do anything. You took a nap and then we had tacos for dinner. Daddy gave you a bath and then tucked you in bed.

You are SO much fun. You are so playful and you have the sweetest laugh. You are just starting to become interested in playing with your babydolls, and you carry them around over your shoulder.

We love you so much and you are such a blessing. I am so glad that I am your mom and you are so special!! I love you!

Today was a fun day at home. Daddy is still out of town, and won't be back till Friday. You like to "talk" to him on the phone when he calls. Today you woke up at 6:20 but thankfully went back to sleep until about 7:45. You had cereal and a waffle for breakfast. We played all day and cleaned house. You continue to chatter all day long. You slept from 1 to 3 today and then we got ready and go had dinner with Aunt Heather. We ate at Logan's and you did really well. You ate steamed broccoli, rice, sweet potatoe and a hard boiled egg. After that we went to Aunt Heather's for awhile, and even Nana stopped by. You played with Belle and with Nana. We came home and you had some oatmeal, then went to bed. You were a sleepy baby.

You will be 18 months on the 10th. I can't believe it. You can say mama, dada, adilynn (ada), byebye, papa, nana and lots of other words. You repeat a lot of what we say. You also like to throw things away, and throw things away that you shouldn't!! Like our silverware!

We will all be glad when Daddy gets back on Friday.

You are snug in bed. I love you. You are becoming sweeter and sweeter everyday.
